Oilers Luv Ramen

Oilers all around love their instant ramen, which could often be seen around nutrition and lunch. In Spring 2024, ASB held a fundraiser selling the popular cupped meal where students lined up to spend their dollars.

The OneLove Club (a national organization focused around healthy youth relationships) held a recruitment club meeting by luring students to join by receiving a Cup of instant ramen in return.

On this OilerTV special news report, Angel and Natalie give us the history of the popular grub in a cup, written by Kevin Hernandez, with interviews by Mikaela and Tyson asking Oilers how they fulfill their noodle fantasy.

​The Dennis LaCommare Seniors Vs. Faculty Basketball Game

The highly anticipated annual event took the place at the gym court where Seniors faced our faculty in a game of basketball. The gym was filled with student and faculty spectators cheering for their preferred side "team seniors" or "team faculty".

The big event raises money for a scholarship that gets awarded to a deserving Senior pursuing college education in Dennis LaCommare's name. Coach LaCommare passed away in 1999 after losing his battle with cancer.

​The faculty took the win once again, after a tough and suspenseful game.
